Notes from club meeting Friday, November 5.
- Please submit designs for a new club logo asap. We would like these designs to include the four sub-disciplines of anthropology.
- Please submit designs for new club t-shirts. If we wish we can use the logo for the t-shirts as well.
- Giaco made the club aware of an event that is going on this weekend:
Global Peace Fire Ceremony – Free Webcast from Kyoto, Japan. Buddist and Mayan spiritual leaders are joining force for a unique wisdom transmission and historical and cultural unification. This Sacred Fire Ceremony for oneness and world peace will occur on November 6th - 7th. Everyone is invited to attend the live webcast free of charge. For more details and to find the weblink to watch the ceremony check out their website: Global Peace Fire Ceremony.
- Please check the blog for a very sincere thank you and photo from Giaco: Maltiox!
- If anyone is attending Warren Miller's Wintervention movie this weekend please let me know so the club can get incentive points. If you are interested, the movie is playing at the Bengal Theater at 1, 7 and 9:30 PM. Cost is $7- $9 ($11 day of show). Tickets are available at the Outdoor Adventure Center.

Potlatch details!
In light of the IMNH re-opening on Saturday, December 4th, we will have
our annual Potlatch on Friday, December 3rd. It will be held on at the Elks Lodge from 6 - 10 PM. The club will be providing the main dish and soft drinks. We ask that attendants bring a side dish or dessert. There will be a cash bar open, and the club is covering the cost of the bartender. We are looking for people to volunteer to help set up, take down and clean up after the event. The club saves a lot of money this way and we appreciate any help that is offered. We are also starting to ask for donations from local businesses for items to be sold at our auction. Please feel free to ask on behalf of the club! But remember to let either myself (Jules) or Jess know whom you have contacted so we can keep a running list. If you have items that you would like to donate for the auction please contact us. We are excited about this year's event and hope to see you all there!

Please join us for our next meeting on Friday, November 19th at noon in Graveley 150.
Thanks and have a great weekend!
