We've Moved!

ISU Student Anthropology Society has a new website that provides us with more functionality than our blog.  Our new site features photos, links, news, a calendar, and a whole lot more.  We'll be phasing out the blog but you can find our new site at https://sites.google.com/site/isuanthro/.  Have a look and check back often as we'll be providing frequent updates on SAS meetings, events, and more.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the pig roast on Saturday!
We hope that everyone had a good time and enjoyed Frankenschwein as much as we did.
Thank you to all the people who made generous donations to the club! This money will be tripled by the Student Activities Center.

Upcoming Events

This Friday's colloquium speaker is Chris Loether, "Mono: One language or two?"  Anthropology colloquium is held every Friday in Rendezvous 111 at 12:00.

On Saturday April 9 the ISU Student Anthropology Society is going to make a trip to the Museum of Idaho in Idaho Falls to see the Bodies exhibit.  The club will be proving transportation to Idaho Falls, individuals will be responsible for their own tickets, which will cost $8.  We'll be meeting at Graveley Hall at 2:00. If you are going to drive on you own, meet us at the Museum of Idaho (200 N Eastern Ave Idaho Falls, ID 83402) at 3:00pm.

Anthropology movie night returns Monday night at 6:00.  This week's movie is the classic anthropological monstrosity "Quest for Fire" at Clayton's house (email isu.studanth@gmail.com for directions).  Abandon all language skills, forget absolutely everything you know about the emergence of Homo sapiens, and bring food, drinks, or a stick (just in case we find the elusive fire).

See you there!
